Most jobs — a slow computer, a virus clean-up, email that stopped working, a new machine set up — land between one and two hours. At $205 per hour that is the whole labour cost, whatever day it is.
What actually drives the final number
Call-out fees
Some providers bill for attending before any work starts. We do not — the hourly rate covers coming to you.
Weekend loading
Many operators charge more outside weekday hours. Ours does not change.
Same-day surcharges
Priority attendance is often an extra line item. We include it, subject to availability.
Parts
Hardware is charged on top almost everywhere. The question is whether you are told first — we quote parts separately for approval.
Questions worth asking any provider
Ask before booking. A low hourly rate with a separate attendance fee can cost more than a higher flat rate.
We work to no fix, no fee. Some providers still charge a diagnostic fee — check their terms on their own website before you book.
Get the part and its price in writing before anyone orders it, and check it against retail.
